The aim of Brighton Dogwatch is to help give dogs and their humans a better life. This includes reuniting lost and stolen dogs as well as sharing local awareness of relevant news, legislation, events and campaigns. This community relies on input and ideas through our forums and Facebook page. Please support us and the campaigns we facilitate. You can read more about the Brighton Dogwatch group and how you can help us here.
Our tips:
  • Microchip (it’s now a legal requirement) and keep your details up to date.
  • Pre-register your dog on doglost.co.uk. It is free and if your dog is lost this will save you vital time giving descriptions and photographs. Brighton Dogwatch can take information from doglost.co.uk and share widely.
  • Keep an identification tag on your dog (also a legal requirement) which makes your dog far easier to reunite if they get lost.
  • Take some photos of your dog and keep on your phone should you ever need to spread the word when they are missing. Clear photos from the front and sides are best.
